Ball Tag

Hello -
This is Zora, and I wanted to talk about ball tag. Do you like tag? Well, this is even more fun to me, to my family, and to my brother's friends. First of all, you should have a large yard to play in, since this requires lots of running, and you do not want to be cornered, which can easily happen in a small yard. I would recommend having lots of hiding spots, that are not obvious at all, but where if you were to get found you could easily run away. Here are the steps to get ready for playing ball tag.
1) Get a soft ball that wouldn't hurt if you happened to get hit by it.
2) Get someone to be it, rock paper scissors, or by saying not it.
3) Count to 10 and let everyone run away if you are it.
4) Now run after the people. If you hit them with the ball, that means they are it. You can either throw it or press the ball against them.
tip: If you catch the ball, you aren't it - you can throw it far away from you, too, so that it will take the "it" person a long time to get it back.
This is a really fun game. Hope you play it and enjoy it!

hello!!!!!!!
have you seen the new movie Avatar? It is actually a really good movie,even though the commercials make it look bad. We saw it in Imax 3-D and it is awesome! there are some monster -type things and if you see it in Imax 3-D that means that there are 2 story tall monsters jumping at you. Anyway it is about another planet called Pandora and there are some natives there.
Some people from earth go there to find valuable rock ,but the natives won't let them.so they create an avatar ,or an altar ego . when the certain human that the avatar belongs to goes to sleep the avatar wakes up and takes over the persons thoughts . the avatars look exactly like the natives and the avatars are supposed get the natives to move.but a war between the natives and the humans and the avatars must make a choice. It is an amazing movie.there is much more to tell, but I will save it for you to watch.

Hi again

Hello everyone!
Are you a weird food lover? If you aren't I wouldn't recommend reading this, actually making this dish, since this has garlic, and oil, and a bunch more abnormal ingredients. Do you like garlic? Are you a major vegetable eater? Because this is a (to me) delicious salad containing a type of dressing called vinaigrette. This is one of my mom's fave salad dressings, since it is soooo easy to make, and soooo healthy. In fact, many of my friends that hate salad (i know, it's kinda weird!) love this recipe. here it is. Enjoy!
First of all, here is how to make the vegetable part of the salad:
1)Get some lettuce, cucumber (not necessary, but cucumbers do taste good with vinaigrette.) , and avocado (also not necessary), and maybe some tomato.
2)Clean and tear up the lettuce in bite - sized chunks. Put in to a large bowl. Partially peel the cucumbers and slice. Add any other veggies like the avocado and tomato.
Recipe for the vinaigrette:
1) Put 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar into a soup - sized bowl or jar.
2) Add 1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
3) Press or finely chop 2 cloves of garlic into the mix
4) Add 3 Tablespoons of olive oil
5) Add 2 Tablespoons of flax seed oil (or you can just use 5 tablespoons of olive oil total instead of flax seed oil)
6) Whisk with a fork
7) Add as much salt as you need to taste. (Start with half a teaspoon.)
That's the dressing, now....
drizzle dressing over the salad and toss.

Hello Again!!!!!

This is Zora (again) and i just wanted to tell you about a few good actors and actresses you can keep an eye out for, since they are VERY good, at least to me.
Firstly, Meryl Streep is awesome. When she smiles, you automatically have to smile. When she is disappointed, you have to be disappointed. She's pretty amazing. It is very fun to watch her talk in other languages, or in accents, like french, (Julie And Julia) and it is also fun to hear her sing (Mama Mia). I would highly, highly recommend her acting, since she uses an excellent use of expressions, PLUS she uses her tone of voice perfectly, so when she's sad, she really acts sad, and you believe it.
Another actor is Charlie Chaplin. He is dead, and has been for a long time, but he was hilarious in several silent movies, in his time. At one point he really got me interested, so we watched a movie and saw how flexible he was. He was a clown, and he definitely succeeded, because he would crack me up when i was younger.
I will recommend more later, but i have to go! bye!

Hi again! This is Zora. First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Today i want to recommend yet another movie - Howl's Moving Castle. It is a Japanese animation film. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was a little mushy... but, who cares? There was only a little kissing. I LOVED the animation, and all of the colors, and the details were amazing. This story is about a girl named Sophie who lives with her mom and who works in her late father's tailor shop. She lives in a place that is at war, and all of the wizards and witches are being summoned by the queen to the palace to help them out at war. The one wizard, however, who doesn't go, is a handsome man named Howl, who's heart is controlled by a fire demon, who is surprisingly nice. But back to Sophie. One night, Sophie is turned into an old woman by the witch of the wastes, (the wastes is a place where all the witches and wizards were sent, isolated from the town.) so she goes off on a journey into the wastes to find the witch and convince her to turn her back into a journey. She finds herself falling in love and risking her life for Howl, who is scared of the Queen.
All in all I would recommend it.

Christmas

Hello Everyone!
This is an artistic Christmas idea I am about to recommend for the future, given the fact you probably already have a Christmas tree since it is Christmas Eve.
As you all know, right now we are celebrating Christmas. Many people have many traditions for Christmas, like the Christmas Ham, or hanging up stockings, or going out caroling, and of course the good old Christmas tree. Well, over the summer my family and I moved, and the house we are currently living in is packed with stuff the people left - leather couches, rocking chairs, etc. We soon realized we did not have enough room for a regular Christmas tree, even if we got a small one. I of course insisted on having some sort of Christmas tree, and my dad suggested getting one or two gigantic Manzanita branches and tying them together. A little downhearted I agreed, and we went out to get the perfect Manzanita branch. Or two, as it later turned out. Finally, we found two perfect ones and took it home. The following is the things we did to make it artistic and creative, but still a little Christmasie, if that's a word (which i don't think is! :D)
1)we painted it a bunch of different colors that made it look very pretty - cool green, bright blue, turqouise, and even more.
2)we put up the tinfoil star we always used.
3)we hung up all our ornaments just as usual on small branches
4)we painted the leaves really bright colors to make them look like ornaments themselves
5)we put our presents at the bottom
That was all i wanted to share, so MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL GOODNIGHT! hope you enjoy your presents!

hello!!!
Have you seen the new movie UP? It's a really good movie about a little boy who loves a guy
named Charles Muntz. Charles Muntz is an explorer and the little boy, Carl Fredrickson, meets a young girl named Ellie who also loves adventure. Her dream is to move to Paradise Falls, the place Charles Muntz was going to explore. The two kids grow up and marry .
I could ramble on and on and fill up three pages on it, but I will skip to my favorite parts, so you will just have to see the movie to know what I am talking about. Anyway, here is my first fav. part, involving a small boy named Russell.
Mr.Fredrickson, now an old man, is walking along with Russel and someone says "hi there."
Next a voice says, "I can smell you!" It is a very misty place, so they can't see very far. He looks around and sees a rock shaped like a person. "Oh hi there," he says. He walks toward the figure and sees that it is a rock. Then a dog runs up. He pats the dog on the head, and it sits. The boy says "oh look, it's trained." "Shake, boy!" and he does. "Speak!", Russell says, and he does. "Hi there," says the dog.
My second favorite part also involves the talking dog, Doug. Doug tells a joke to Mr. Frederickson: "I know a joke! A squirrel walks up to a tree and says, "I forgot to store acorns for winter and now I am dead!" It is funny because a squirrel gets dead." You know how I feel about squirrels since the incident in Cuyamaca, so I totally agree with Doug.
anyway, I really hope you watch the movie! Stay tuned for more because I am planning on writing a review for the movie Julie and Julia.
